The Master of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MSEI) is an accelerated and highly experiential program offering the skills, frameworks, and learning experiences to create and launch new business opportunities in large organizations or new companies.

The program can be completed in just 12 months and is open to working professionals with at least one year of full-time work experience and a bachelor’s or advanced degree. The curriculum provides key skills including:

  • Entrepreneurial decision-making
  • Innovative business model formulation and evaluation
  • New product development and execution strategies
  • Team formation and growth
  • Financing and launching a new venture

Who would benefit from an MS in Entrepreneurship and Innovation?

This program is ideal for students of all backgrounds seeking to launch successful ventures in large organizations or in new entities. It is designed for students pursuing careers in a variety in roles, such as corporate ventures, venture capital, technology development and commercialization, product and project management, start-up leadership, and other broad management roles. Students with advanced degrees in other fields, such as engineering, basic science, communications, construction management, cinema, and others will benefit from this integrated business curriculum.

What are the advantages of an MS in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Marshall?

The MSEI allows students to earn a graduate degree without acquiring the full work experience required for admission to an MBA program. Full-time students complete the program over three terms, beginning coursework in a short session prior to the fall semester and finishing the following May. The Marshall School program combines a deep hands-on experience with some of the today’s most advanced educational tools and techniques, taught by leading scholars and practitioners.
